New and confused

Hi everyone. im new to both this site and playing guitar. ok so first off, i want to let everyone know im not here to meet new people. im only here to get tips and guidence on learning how to play guitar. i dont privet message or IM ppl i dont know personally. boards like this are fine though.

ok, so i need to know the basics and i read that ActoGuitar has mini lessons with videos and such. where do i go to find everything i need to begin?

The vids on this site are very helpfull. You can also download guitar pro: http://www.guitar-pro.com. Then head to ULTIMATE GUITAR TABS ARCHIVE | 200,000+ Guitar Tabs, Bass Tabs, Chords and Guitar Pro Tabs! to download some guitar pro tabs. Just like normal tabs except they play the song so you can see the rhythm.
