run down to the nearest guitar place and buy these: A KORG Guitar/Bass Tuner Strings And have the repair dude handle the string change. And when you get your guitar back, if its an acoustic... play some chords, in your case, do a chord that needs the low e string. if its an electric, play some scales or a solo to test out how good it shreds. if that doesnt work then go here ULTIMATE GUITAR TABS ARCHIVE | 200,000+ Guitar Tabs, Bass Tabs, Chords and Guitar Pro Tabs! no, not tabs, reviews... look up your ibanez and see what people say its made out of. Look at the woods and pickups. |

I have this problem a lot too. But what is usual the problem is that I'm not pushing down the string far enough. Make sure it is well pressed against the fretboard. It might hurt trying to push it down that far, but you'll get used to it.
And if that doesn't help it, then maybe it is tuned wrong, or you might need a new string. Hopefully that will help you. |

If the buzzing is happening on only those two frets, then it means that the neck is warped. If you go to any music shop they should be able to adjust the truss rod for you and straighten the neck back out, which shouldn't cost more than $20.
Also, your strings should be changed every month or so (maybe longer if you're not playing very often), so you should be able to change them yourself, it's not very hard to do. |
