That's a tougher tab -- it's probably better to start off with something simpler. If you're having trouble with bends, running through some finger strengthening exercises could help, as well as practicing some scales (try this article to help you learn to play major scales).

Trying to play along with some of the beginner videos will help you get a feel for rhythm as well.

Hope that helps!

To play the 8b10, play the 8th fret on the E string, and push the string up (towards your head) until the note sounds as if you were playing on the 10th fret. This is called a whole-step bend. If it were written as 8b9, then you would bend up until it sounded like you were playing on the 9th fret. This would be called a half step bend. Hope this helps.

If for the 15b17b15p13
It applies the same with the method described by guitarplayer. You bent the note whole step up then bend it down back to the original. Means ur makin the note goes from 15 up to 17 then back down to 15. All with a single strum

...p13
Thts a pull-off from the previous note. So get urself to do this:
position ur 4th finger on the 15th fret, make the bend (15b17b15),position ur index finger to press on the 13th fret.as soon as u have bent back to the 15th fret...just make the pull-off

Do check out the lessons and videos regarding bout pull-offs to get the idea of it.
=)

+ sign

Since this thread is about reading tabs instead of making a new thread I would add to this one. I have come across a few tabs that have a + sign in the tab like 2+2 in it. The tab says it means + harmonic

What does that exactly mean? I checked the site and it does not mention this in the "learning how to read tabs" section. Go up in scale?

Thanks in advance
Iggy

Edit: Found this Rolling Stones tab for Miss You that has it for an example - Thanks
