november rain lesson help

As a first time poster and a newbie to the site I would just like to start by saying what an amazing site this is!

However I need help with the november rain tab in the Bends and Vibrato tutorial. My problem is that I dont understand where to bend, where to release and where to pick the note! I'm so confused.

example: I'll start with the begining of the song.

-----------8-----------------------------8------------8~~~~~~-------

-b8---r8b----8---r(8)p6--8brbr----r8b------r8--5br~~----------5brbr----

------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Does this mean pick the the first note and hold the bend. Then then pick the note again before releasing and bend in back up again with out picking the note again, Holding the bend while playing the following 2 notes at the 8th fret?

which then brings me to the part that says r(8)p6 8brbr. What do I do here?

I hope I'm getting my question across! It sounds confusing when I read it back to myself!

thanks!

November Rain

Ok, this part is slash' first solo in the song. This solo is all about the bends, the duration of each bend makes 1 note sound like 5. I really dont like learning tabs that have the whole 8b6 thing and all that either, what i recommend is getting a program called guitar pro or power tab editor, it shows you how to bend the notes to give the sound.
