The Many Ways You Can Earn ActoShares

ActoGuitar is a guitar learning community -- our purpose is to learn how to play guitar. And to ensure that we have the best material on the site to do that, we've introduced ActoShares -- our system for rewarding members who submit great content that helps all of us learn to play guitar!

This is So Cool! How Can I Earn ActoShares?

There are a number of ways.

Simple Ways to Earn ActoShares

1. Contribute an Article. One simple way to share your knowledge is to just submit an article. If it's approved and published, you'll start earning ActoShares for it.

2. Create an ActoMap. ActoMaps are collections of links around a given term. For instance, if you created a map around the term "How to Play Guitar Chords" and it might look like this. ActoMaps help us identify the best web pages to help us learn about a given topic. Click here to learn more about how you can learn -- and earn! -- by creating ActoMaps.

Harder (But More Rewarding! ) Ways to Earn ActoCash

If you're more ambitious and want your own spot on ActoGuitar -- well, good for you! Check out one of the options below.

1. The Learn n' Earn Program. Create your own channel, featuring a band that you like, and share with them you learn about the band. Don't just learn -- learn n' earn! Click here for more on the ActoGuitar Learn n' Earn Program.

2. Be a Video Star. Do you have videos of yourself playing guitar that people could learn from? If so, apply for your own video channel on ActoGuitar. We can automatically import your videos from YouTube into your own channel on ActoGuitar. To get an idea of what it's like, check out some of our existing channels by members like Will Staney, Dying Clarity guitarist Achokarlos and jazz guitarist Matt Otten, among many others.

3. Be an ActoBlogger. Got something to say? Some knowledge to drop? Maybe mix it up with some videos and text? Signup for your own channel on ActoGuitar. You can use your channel like your own blog to share your unique insight into playing guitar. And, of course, to earn some ActoShares in the process.

4. Get a Business Channel. Got your own guitar blog? Or are you running a guitar business and looking to interact with and build relationships with guitarists online? If so, get your own channel on ActoGuitar. If you already have a blog, we can syndicate your blog's feed -- you don't need to do any additional work. It's a great way to promote your business, to interact directly with real guitarists, AND you earn ActoShares for it!
