well...acoustics are harder to play, so if you stuck with your acoustic and got good at it just imagine how well you'd be able to play on an electric,
or you could go and return your acoustic and buy one of those electric started kits and jam on that, and then if you find you like playing guitar, save up and buy a better guitar/ amp and such.
i would personally go buy one of those electric guitar starter kits..
