Agree with you there mate.

If your going for an acoustic get a Yamaha. Got a mate with an Yamaha F310 (£79 on gak), ive played a few in a similar price range (staggs etc) and the Yamaha tops them. For an extra £20 you can pick up an Yamaha F370.

Ive got an epiphone les paul standard which I rarely play anymore, just my humming bird knock off by Yamaha from the mid 70s. Ive read Gibson even filed a law suit against Yamaha over their knock off's.

Make sure you pick up a cheapo electric tuner as well.
